Markel has been with the organization for the past 3 1/2 years.  Markel was in need of assistance with Pre- Algebra & Algebra1, which are two difficult math subjects in High School. Markel tends to learn better in small groups or with one- one- instructions, so his parents enrolled him in our program. Markel appeared to be a little shy but through time he opened up and started to attend private tutoring to improve his skills. Markel is a member of DUYA and he currently attends programming 2-3 times a week while receiving private tutoring  to stay on grade level in his courses.
