As of now we currently do not have any available openings for the Student worker position (paid internship) or the Youth Program Assistant position (paid supervisory position).

the Youth Coach position is an unpaid internship. 


The following positions below are available:



Youth Coach (on-going)


Eligibility: ages 15- up (high school student, undergraduate, graduate) 



  • Tutor students individually and in small groups (ages 5-18)

  • Provide Homework assistance in small groups for students ages 5-18

  • Provide academic support and utilize effective tutoring routines and strategies

  • Collaborate with team mates and instructors to ensure that students are receiving grade level support according to the students skill set

  • Attend to clerical task using Microsoft excel, Microsoft word, Microsoft powerpoint

  • Attend to clerical task including filing, data entry, screen phone calls, and

  • Keep track of students progress through data analysis and written reports

  • Conduct and participate in group activities: facilitate social, communication, and academic workshops; facilitate arts and crafts and specialized projects

  • Attend bi- weekly  professional development meetings (mandatory: held on Saturdays 1:15pm- 3:15pm)

Qualifications: Entry Level

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Adaptable to a fast-paced work environment

  • Ability to work with students one-on-one and in small groups

  • Ability to work with students ages 5-18

  • Ability to tutor in at least two of the following core subjects: Math, Geometry, Algebra, Statistics, English Literature, Language Arts, etc.

  • Available to work at least 3- 10 hours per week during the academic year

  • Must be enrolled in school and/ or obtaining a high school diploma

  • Demonstrate the ability to work with diverse groups of people and as a member of a cohesive team

  • Promote learning strategies to encourage student self-sufficiency

  • Engage in professional career development


Schedule Availability: 

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday,  Saturday (morning and afternoon shifts available)
